But even more so for the folks in Boulder, ABQ, Boise, AFA, etc.

 

Freeze is signing a long-term extension to stay at Liberty, according to the Pool Boy fucking piece of shit chancellor of that school.

 

Matt Luke has landed on his feet as the associate head coach/offensive line coach at Georgia.

 

Here's an odd one. Cal OC Beau Baldwin heading back to the Big Sky to coach Cal Poly. Now San Luis Obispo is an amazing place to live and all that - but I was surprised he wasn't getting a sniff from Fresno or the other MWCs looking for coaches. The guy came to Berkeley as the HC at Eastern Washington, a Big Sky power - and now he's going back to coach a bottom tier team.

SLO is great - but I just figured he'd be in line for a MWC job or at least an OC gig at a bigger school. OK never mind - Cal was last in the conference in offense, by 40 plus yards - much of that was due to being without their starter for five games or so - but still. Two years running to boot.

Cal Poly had a decent run in the mid 00s ... didn't realize that they had fallen that far. Baldwin has some experience coaching the Big Sky so that probably was a factor. Wouldn't be surprised if he was on his way to getting canned at Cal, either. Might have been a take what you can get sitch.

 

Give him a few more years.
