Nancy just shot a look that said "no cheering" to the Ds that could have cut through marble. I don't get the "present" vote - vote yes, vote no - voting present just makes you look weak AND politically calculating.

Ugh. My brother is one of those.

He needs to put energy into working, health insurance, providing for his kids. Instead it's "Gunnnnzzzzzz!!!!!!"

It makes me sad. We grew up in the same sheltered suburban house. You've never, ever in your life been counting on a gun, yet here you are expending energy desperate to protect the right to some day own an arsenal.

Justin, it's not the right to own an arsenal, it's the right to kill any person of color without consequence.

She's a political coward (note - I'm not calling her a coward in general, because she's a veteran. This applies only to her acts as a politician).

Either you think Trump should be impeached or not. Pick one and have some conviction. You don't get to be a passenger on votes of this magnitude.

She's not real good on TV, but in her House, she rules.

Apparently she was planning on issuing some kind of censure resolution. I guess that explains the lack of Y/N vote.

Pelosi doesn’t vote very often, as Speaker.
The better comparison is Steny Hoyer, who I believe is the majority leader

    It still makes your point.

It's a cop-out. She can introduce that later after issuing an actual Y/N vote. If, as she argued in her statement that she just put out, that she believes a President shouldn't be impeached unless it is a bipartisan agreement, then she should have just voted no.

She's afraid of the political fallout from voting no and she's worried that some of her mobilized online backers will abandon her if she votes yes. She's a coward.

    Two counts.
Trump will now tweet that he’s the most impeached president in history.
