He also threw arguably the biggest interception in the biggest gaffe in SB history. Sometimes confidence breeds stupidity.

As one of my college roommates said when our school's flashy point guard committed an over and back with a behind the back dribble "razzled his own dazzle with that one."

You guys act like nobody's ever fucking thrown from the one yard line before.

Throwing was fine. The play call stunk.

When you throw from the one, receiver had better be wide open. Otherwise throw it away if not fourth down, which it wasn't.

99% of the time that ball bounces off of Butler and is an incompletion.

25 seconds, 1 timeout and 2nd down from the 1, and your rb who had already rushed for over 100 yards and a td is left holding a bag of Skittles.
I'm running on 2nd and 3rd, and if I don't lose yards, maybe on 4th.

Marshawn Lynch was 1 for 5 that season in goal line carries from the 1.
The truth about Marshawn Lynch from the 1-yard line

    1 for 5.

I can get that people don't think its the right call. But for fuck's sake, the after-the-fact teeth gnashing is unprecedented.

So you are calling your timeout after 2nd down with about 19 seconds left and if you don’t make it on 3rd you are going to rush up to the line for 4th down? Ridiculous.

That’s fine and if he fails on 2nd down you are using your timeout and throwing on 3rd.
