President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Hardly. But there are a few people here who use Trump, and this thread, to work through some apparent sorrows.

 

The tone of the White House and certain Fox personalities is that the family separations, the kids in cages and perhaps even the deaths of migrants are positives because they prevent people whom they don’t like from coming into our country.

It is part of an overall belief that anyone brown coming into our country are a minimum a drain on our resources but really more than anything else are danger to the good and white people of our country whose superiority they have been told has been threatened.

 

Unpunished rape, sexual assault, human trafficking, fraud, theft and the disintegration of democracy is a decent reason for decent people to express sorrow. The inability of others to recognize that is also a reason for decent people to express sorrow.

 

Trumpism:

 

Broken? I am scared. I am scared for myself. I am scared for people I know and know of whose words might put them between the crosshairs of people who don't mind their choices having a body count.

One more thing... Either stop the armchair diagnoses or slap it on the table while I go get my ruler.

Thinking, for example, that there's something strange and unsettling about picking fights with awful Sandy Hook deniers is not the same denying Sandy Hook. Of course it happened. Getting worked up over some weirdo trolling on YouTube is...odd.

 

When 2 million either deny Sandy Hook happened or think it was an anti2nd amendment conspiracy and those same 2 million votes for trump. And the same 2 million think dead children is a fair warning for illegal immigration and the same 2 million get apoplectic over the mention of Barron Trump and they are the same that think Nancy Pelosi is an anti Christian satanist whose aim is to kill god’s anointed president and are the same that think climate change is a false liberal media narrative, it’s not some weirdo trolling a message board. It’s the process of the de-evolution of an open minded classical liberal western culture into a pseudo-Christian based theocracy

 

This is a broad generalization and a stretch. Plenty of politics talk/debate and information posted some might have missed.

As far as the "broken souls" crap, that's way over the top.
