It’s my poor way of trying to be kind.

I think the way I’d put it - and maybe I’m wrong - is that the thread is being used at times as an outlet for anger.

 

Why do we need them when we can be concern-trolled by you?
I'm also not sure what there is to 'debate'. Both sides are well entrenched.
You are a bright fellow but no need to overthink this - this thread is a place for people to vent, shoot the breeze and occasionally shitpost.
Not all of the shit that happens on this forum needs to have meaning.

 

To be fair I think I know what Alma is saying.

As an example...I will celebrate when Fatfuck dies. I would not celebrate if Alma died. I might however say..."Well at least there is one less asshole Trump voter alive so...OK."

So if a headline read, "Poster Celebrates Alma's Death" it would be wrong because all I was saying is "we will all be better long term because Alma died". There is nothing wrong with that.

 

If that is "all you are saying," there is plenty wrong with that.

 

Of course there is. It is reprehensible. But the headline would be wrong and that is what would concern Alma. And btw I certainly don't want anything to happen to Alma. I am sure he is a very good person and loves and is loved greatly by his family. Now Trump on the other hand.

 

The fact that Alma's not even a Trump voter is only the second-stupidest thing in Bad Beer's post.

It's truly an amazing way to view the world. "Believe everything I believe . . . or you're a Trump voter."

Other than the fact that it's an echo chamber, it's why there is no debate on here. Why challenge anything, when the only result is to be branded a Trumpist?

 

Remember people: The real problem is criticizing Trumpists, not the Trumpists or the leader of their klan.
