The Reuter’s story is new. Putin wouldn’t allow public disclosure of CIA intervention in Russian domestic terrorism unless it served his purposes. And there’s little reason for the professionals at the CIA to allow their operations disclosed. So Putin allowed trump to get a political bump, see pompeo’ s bullshit statement above. I’m too experienced to believe Putin and trump at face value. experienced and educated enough to know that a 4 paragraph wire story is a published news release and never the whole true story.
