Last movie you watched......

I saw "Knives Out" today. I loved it. A throwback to the classic Hollywood whodunits, with a great cast. I wouldn't mind seeing another movie with Daniel Craig's character and another crime to solve.

 

You should watch Logan Lucky if you want Daniel Craig playing another hick.

 

The Report; really enjoy Driver and Benning.

 

I have seen it. Craig was great in that also.

 

Yes. A great and important film.

 

Uncut Gems was really good. Sandler deserves an Oscar nomination. A manic film about a guy who is a king fuck up degenerate gambler who consistently makes awful decisions. Violent and loud. Almost too loud. Kevin Garnett plays a central role and basically plays himself, so that’s not much of a stretch. Also a nice cameo from The Weeknd, if only for giving Sandler the opportunity to say, “Fuck The Weeknd.”

The ending was unexpected but totally fitting.

 

Really enjoyed The Two Popes. I thought the way the story flowed was magnificent.

 

Knives Out. Good fun. Old fashioned Whodunnit. I was surprised the internet didn’t spoil it. But having see it now... That would be a tough thing to spoil.

There hasn’t been a movie like this in awhile. Someone was on point doing one again with a great cast.

 

Little Women; great acting, very tender story. Ms. Rionen (sp) was great. I’m so impressed by Chalamet; he’s so believable in everything he does. From Ladybird to this.

Finished Dolomite; helluva lot of fun seeing Eddie Murphy again. Fun story and going back to 70’s disc jockey nostalgia.

It’s fun. It’s better than most DC offerings. It’s still light years from being as good as Marvel.
