No one's tanking this year. It's a shit draft. Whoever goes number one would have probably gone 5th or 6th in the last few drafts.

Bad teams will always look to rebuild, but there's no tanking happening this year.

 

They're only 3 out of the eighth seed, and 3.5 from the seventh. The league also re-did the lottery odds a year or two ago, so there isn't as much incentive to tank. They've been shopping Jackson for years, and found no takers, and I'm not sure what the market is for Drummond, but I suspect he has less effect on winning and losing than it seems.

 

Jackson is shit when he's healthy. Your typical 22-points, 2-9 from 3PFG, 3 assist, 7 turnover loser point guard. Nobody's ever winning shit with him running the show; they're not getting 50 cents for him in a trade.

However I suppose it's quite possible they could get 50 Cent in a trade
