At least it will be a different kind of ringing in his ears.

Really odd going from Moorhead to Sark, unless Sark has developed a fake drawl in his time down South. Issues aside - he never lit it up in Seattle or LA, never won even a division title. That said, if his illness was what was holding him back - this could be a fantastic hire.

They gonna start calling it Sark-Vegas?

Blitz should be thrilled with getting Sark.

Haven't seen Blitz in quite a while. Hope he's well.

Leach is in for a rude awakening.

I think Leach is a better fit than Sarkesian. Perpetual chip on the shoulder, inability to be less than candid regardless of who he offends or the cost - and if there is anyone better to play the "we're a bunch of hard-workin' REAL AMERICANS" card than Leach - I don't know one. Shoot - the contrast between him and Kiffin is vast.

But I don’t know if the MissState fans will be OK with the Air Raid, weak D style of football he coaches.

So what happened with Sarkisian? Was that a inaccurate tweet that was posted on the thread? I see it's been deleted.

    Three things about Leach:

*It's all about him. More than most coaches. That has its appeal and its drawbacks. He's not a miser with his own thoughts - I hate coaches who are - but he can be difficult when it comes players, assistants, etc. He's a little like Bobby Knight; thinks he's unusually profound. I find it limits the quality players he gets and puts a strain on his coaches over time. He has a good tree because he attracts smart players and coaches - he himself is smart - but he wears people out.

*He doesn't hate defense and his best teams play pretty good defense relative to the offense.

*Usually wins 1-2 he shouldn't and loses 1-2 he shouldn't every year.

My initial reaction was the same as yours. But to Dan's point above, I can see the "Us against the World" narrative playing well to that fan base.
