My hope of hopes is we get an administration in place in less than 12 months that can see past the end of it's own bottom line.
The best case scenario will be if some of these developer types or fossil fuel people invest in starting up something, the feds come in and say, "SHUT IT DOWN." and then these assholes lose everything.

 

So, what’s the chance in his lifetime Trump has asked a woman to abort a child? But he’s cool with the pro-life crowd.

 

Bring this up with the evangelicals, and they’re like, “Yeah, he’s not perfect and he’s made mistakes, but now he’s as awesome as Jesus and that’s what counts! Unlike that Mooslem Kenyan and Hillary, who are going to hell!”

Pathetic, really.

 

Here’s what I don’t really get about the Senate GOP. Yes, it’s a job with a good deal of power and comes with excellent perks and benefits. But most of them are wealthy already, and it’s not like having “U.S. Senator” on their resume won’t get them a lobbying job or work at the Bumfuck News.

So why not show some courage, take a stand against the Trumpists, push back against stupidity, and, if they lose, watch the Trumpists burn in the general election for a few years while at their cushy lobbying gig until they learn that stupidity will (hopefully) get them nowhere?

 

I never liked how Capone’s lawyer could just plead guilty for him like that against his client’s wishes.
