Meh. I know the zealots want it overturned, but deep down a large percentage of who campaign against it don't - because it would mean they'd lose the stream of donations flowing into their coffers. It's like the NRA - yeah, it spent a ton of money campaigning for Trump. But the organization does much, much better financially with a Democrat in the White House.

Say what you will, but at least back then somebody with decades of public service was valued by the voters - and game show hosts stayed on TV where they belonged.
