That Trump won’t be convicted? Yeah.

Fine with me if they do convict him. I don’t personally find this matter unusually compelling to the American people, or to me, but I’m not a fan of him being in office.

I’m calling it as I see it, not how I feel it.

 

I continue to believe that none of it matters. None of it. The GOP is poisoned.

I hope - sincerely hope - that history, at some point, will matter.

I'm not optimistic.

 

Check the latest polling for those at-risk senators. That will provide a little levity.

I don't know what will happen with this and don't presume to know, but I am confident in believing Susan Collins will not be re-elected.

 

Schiff mentioned this is his closing arguments and Susan Collins yelled: “That’s not true.”
Schiff: “I hope it isn’t.”

The talking points have been issued — they are so mad that Schiff repeated the head on a pike report that they can’t agree on new witnesses. Jesus.

 

I know this sounds too West Wing-ish, and it's waaay to early to make this call, but, if there's no clear leader heading into the convention, a draft from the floor?

The only person I could see hitting the sweet spot - if not an announced candidate - would be Sherrod Brown. He's liberal enough, Midwest enough and establishment enough.
