    I'm no Kobe fan, NBA fan, or even basketball fan for that matter, and Bryant clearly wasn't a nice guy.
    But he was a cultural icon for a generation.

    I'm still not over Davey Allison's helicopter crash and miss SRV.

    Like him or not, it is damn sad. Nobody deserves this.
    Seems like there have been quite a few aircraft crashes recently.

    MSNBC anchor, minutes after compounding Knicks and Lakers and coming awfully close to saying the N-word, describes Kobe has having a fiery personality.

    Jesus, lady, why not say he had a reputation for crashing through opposing defenses?
