There’s nothing complicated about it, but go ahead and victim shame fanboy.

I was at MD vs. Indiana (savage loss for Hoosiers, btw) and got an alert in the parking lot. Turned on ESPN Radio for the first time in forever, heard a sports update with Kobe's death and the wrong score of the game I just saw. Switched channel.

    Agree with you.

Two points that I'm wondering about:
    1. Does temporal remove mitigate sin versus genius? (Personally I don't think so and got smacked down in academia for not liking someone because they molested their children.)
    2. Fans and admirers are the ones left picking up the shards of those clay feet. Where does responsibility to their feelings end? (Once again, I didn't like an old racist jerk, couldn't feel his "love story" with his bigamist wife, and got called on it for being "soulless." Ahdunno. Wasn't there a time when that sort of thing was considered discernment? Then again, the figure in question had been dead for a long time, so...)

I am not a Kobe Bryant fan, in part because of the Eagle, Colo. encounter, but thanks for that post, TigerVols. It's easy to forget or overlook parts of infamous cases that occur, and sometimes, it's good to put out a reminder of the facts again.

The story I remember at the time was that she was a willing sexual participant until he tried to boots her. And he didn't take no for answer.

Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly. If true, that's still sexual assault.
