Polls are meaningless.
A new one comes out every other day saying someone different is the front runner.
We'll have a legit idea after Super Tuesday.

 

Emerson is notoriously unreliable. Huge MOE spreads due to smaller than normal sampling.

 

Yeah, I just looked. It's nearly a 5% MOE and only 450 were polled.

Also on 1A - Bolton's new book quotes Trump as telling Bolton he was holding back the money to force them to investigate Biden. Tell me again how we don't need to call witnesses. I'm going to call Richard Shelby's office tomorrow and raise hell. It won't do any good, but I'll have fun torturing some Young Republican staffer answering the phones.

 

A spokesperson for Bolton accuses the National Security Council of leaking this. And says he never shared transcript with anyone else. But makes a point to not deny the money shot.

I don't buy that at all. I assume he is just giving himself some cover but he clearly wanted this out before trial was over. As someone else pointed out he wants his name as clean as possible.

 

Ya never know. You could change the mind of a young GOPer who doesn’t know any better.

 

You know Trump's gonna spin it that Bolton just wants to sell books.

 

This may also be some "fuck you" payback to Trump for using Bolton as a punching bag along the way, as he does all staff, especially anyone who disagrees with his latest burst of genius.

 

Sure he will, but that's not going to fly in the Senate. This should be an interesting week on the Hill.
