My granddaughter was on my lap a while back. Ripped one so hard I felt it in my ankle. She turned to me, giggling like mad, and said, "I toot on you!"

All genders laugh at farts. Because farts are funny.

Programming Alert. Spike Lee’s documentary on Kobe from the 2007-08 season is on ESPN from 7 to 9 tonight.

    It's the circle of life.

@Heyabbot a big swath of the early SNL material wouldn't have made it to the airwaves by today's standards. Ever see the "Job Interview" bit with Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor? It's brilliant and way too dangerous now.

This is such a hauntingly similar piece of what happened to me and my family. And I said the same words when I called my brothers after I found out. They had started driving from California to Colorado. We still didn't know. I got the word. I called them.

    "They're all gone."

I will never forget that and many other things that day, including seeing my parents for the first time.

'They're all gone.' A coach, a brother, and an astonishing tragedy

I’m old enough that I saw it when it aired originally.

Not that it matters, but you'd have to ratio it out based on number of attempts to determine whether one is more dangerous than the other.

Helicopters aren't safer to operate compared to cars. Not by a longshot.

If you operate a car with the premium on safety that any helicopter pilot does naturally, your chances of dying plummet.

But almost nobody drives their car with that kind of intense focus. But they CAN if they choose to.
