Digging into a project sat work in the wake of Kyle Shanahan and Mike Shanahan being the only father-son duo in NFL history to coach a team to the Super Bowl: have any father-son duos coached a team to the NBA Finals? I can find lists of those who played, much tougher for a non-hoops guy to find a list of fathers and sons who coached in the NBA.

    Merci.

No one cares. Too far away from the coasts.

Wizards have given up 130 points or more 12 times this season, including back to back 150 point games. The team is a shit storm of lazy indifferent defense.

They won 121-107 tonight against the Hornets.

Not sure if it was mentioned on the Kobe thread, but the NBA has changed the format for the All-Star Game to pay tribute to him.
No word yet on whether everyone will be required to yell, "KOBE!" every time they shoot a jumper.

NBA changes ASG format, adds Kobe tribute

That’s about right, lose 2 then win 1. 16-31 so far. Worst defense in the league.

Besides the aforementioned Bill and Eric Musselman I can think of Bernie and BJ Bickerstaff, Flip and Ryan Saunders and Mike and Brendan Malone.

More like, it's regular season basketball, and the Bucks are the Bucks now. They went 60-22 last year, and kept most of their same personnel, so they don't have the "will the pieces fit?" drama / newness of the Lakers and Clippers. It's also probably why they look so cohesive night to night. It'll be interesting if they go for the Warriors' regular season wins record, but I think most people are just holding on until the playoffs to see if they're a championship team, or the new version of Budenholzer's Hawks.

All of that is true... but Milwaukee could disappear and it would be months before anyone outside of Wisconsin noticed.

“He plays the game a different way,” Morris told reporters. “He’s got a lot of female tendencies on the court, flopping and throwing his head back the entire game. It’s a man’s game, and you just get tired of it.

“When you step back and shoot a three … and, like, rub it in … he’s unprofessional. He’s soft. His game is soft. He’s very womanlike.”

Common perception in the NBA or a unique perspective?
