how’s that working for everyone? Lost the White House. lost the senate. Lost the Supreme Court. Barely regained the house. Have been getting its ass kicked in state and local elections for decades. The left keeps playing nice and keeps losing ground. And they seem perfectly happy to play the role of nice losers. They’re called socialists and radical and maniacs and “out of control!!!!111!!!!” And they just keep shaking their heads and refusing to “stoop to their level.”

    A majority of Americans.

I'm sure 35-40% of Americans loved it. And all the talk show hosts will. Some might even re-enact it.

I'm amused at watching Trumpists whining about Pelosi's lack of decorum. Also, there's a growing talking point about how she "destroyed government documents" and should be punished for that. That's really interesting given the White House hired somebody whose job is to tape Trump's notes back together after meetings since he always rips them up.

Once again, over 90 percent of voters will have forgotten about this shit by Sunday. The Internet will move on to arguing about Oscar movies they didn't go see. Among the 5-10 percent (a very generous estimate) of voters who are truly up for grabs in November, make that 100 percent. They are not State of the Union watchers. Indeed, few of them are news consumers at all.

No, I can be vulgar whenever I choose, but when trump is re-elected and defaults on hundreds of billions of US Debt sending the world into global economic depression, you can feel good that you exercised restraint in your criticisms.

Take a drive around this country sometimes. Outside of the big cities it's a barnyard. A coast-to-coast barnyard. People with bad tattoos driving big trucks on lift kits. They work their shit jobs then head to Buffalo Wild Wings on the weekends to watch NFL and MMA. Anything with violence, because they feel beat up on and want to see someone else get their ass kicked for a change. They feel left behind and fucked over (much of that is on them but that's another topic) and saw in Trump a guy who heard them and was a fighter -- for them.

Now here comes the other side. Not only have they shown that they won't get angry for fear of "stooping to their level," you had one candidate straight up call them deplorable.

Yep. Drove to Charleston, S.C., back in October and stopped along the way at a Chick-fil-A outside of Rocky Mount on 95 and at a gas station later for caffeine near Fayettenam. There was a group of high school kids all dressed in MAGA garb at the CFA, and at least three people wearing Trump shirts at the Pilot where I got coffee.

Cool story, bro. He's going to win in November, by a larger margin than he did in 2016. None of it matters.

Iowa - still counting - now at 71 percent. Oddly enough Warren only finished second in Warren County.

That copy of the speech has become the moral equivalent of the Trumpist Koran.
