All of those grand proclamations from the SJW are fine, until you realize no one in real America gives a fuck and Trump will win easily in 2020. It won’t be close .

This thread has occasionally cycled through the stages of grief, and the Iowa dipshittery is not very uplifting.

I mean look how old some of these people look.

 

I am being an asshole, yes. But my vote means nothing because I’m in a 83 percent blue district. I’ll still vote, but...

 

It's worth remembering...

It's not about convincing Trump voters to vote Democratic. It's not about swaying "independent" voters away from Trump.

It's about getting registered Democrats energized to vote.

If Democrats go to the polls, Trump is done. Everything else is just noise.

Nominate someone who Democrats will go to the polls for and who doesn't alienate a large section of the electorate. (The two who scare me the most in that regard are Buttigieg and Bloomberg, who are a dumpster fire with black voters.)
