This made me chuckle. Politicians tweaking Trump are great.

    From Time Magazine...
"She said the other half of Trump’s supporters “feel that the government has let them down” and are “desperate for change.”

“Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well,” she said."

That's exactly right. Republicans hate-watch shit all the time. I've seen this within my own family.

I don't watch things I don't like, which includes the Oscars, but many conservatives aren't functioning properly if they're not resenting something in the moment.

I don't get that and never will. Why watch something you don't enjoy? As a Philadelphia sports fan, I already overdose on that diet.

Just don't call a segment of them "deplorables," otherwise people will still be debating it years later.

The criminal justice system has given up all pretense that the crimes of the wealthy are worth taking seriously. In January 2019, white-collar prosecutions fell to their lowest level since researchers started tracking them in 1998. Even within the dwindling number of prosecutions, most are cases against low-level con artists and small-fry financial schemes. Since 2015, criminal penalties levied by the Justice Department have fallen from $3.6 billion to roughly $110 million. Illicit profits seized by the Securities and Exchange Commission have reportedly dropped by more than half.
