It's easy to forget in all the Trump craziness, but when Obama was impeached, at his Senate trial, John Kerry voted to convict him. Sure, Obama was eventually acquitted and all the other Dems were on his side, but to have the previous presidential nominee of your party vote to convict a fellow party member in a presidential impeachment trial is a huge deal. People forget that.
