Curious how the Pete voters above switch out their votes.

Pete deserves a round of beers for dropping before Super Tuesday.

Biden stands to gain. Maybe warren.

Depends on how many early voters went in his direction though. Yang still got 1,000 votes in S.C. and he was out of the race 18 days before.

    Pete Buttigieg's exit saddens me.

After rising from relative obscurity to become a viable White House candidate, Pete Buttigieg ends his campaign

He seemed different from the rest of the candidates, separated in some way -- whether that was because he is younger, gay, or so intelligent and impressive, or all of those things -- his perspectives and ability to articulate them were a breath of fresh air. I hope he runs for President again someday, before he gets as old as most of the candidates in this year's election.

It changes a lot - Pete wasn't polling much above 10 anywhere Tuesday - probably locks up Virginia and NC for Biden, Mass for Warren, puts Texas and Colorado into play...heck Biden could go from just Virginia and NC to winning four additional states he wouldn't have won otherwise. And as much as the TV ad buys terrify people - it's unclear if Bloomberg has any ground game whatsoever.

I suspect that Pete gains a cabinet post for being a team player and getting out of the way, as well as for being an impressive person. He's on an upward arc.

Klobuchar just had to cancel an event in her home state because protesters refused to leave the stage. They were protesting a conviction of a black man that occurred under Klobuchar.

    She's done.

She's *been* done. The money is going to dry up in a big way and that will force the issue. It's not like she has many delegates to trade.

She was done anyway, but what's she going to do a Sunday night at a rally? Go break the guy out?

Mayor Pete and Steyer dropping out shows that early voting in a presidential primary before Super Tuesday is a roll of the dice.
    1. If I'd voted for one of them, I'd be pretty irritated (not at them, at the system).
    2. If you early voted for someone who never stood a snowball's chance, it's on you.
    3. I did early vote. I think my state's ballot was prepared in November or something. It had available choices that dropped out weeks ago.
