Biden is going to get hosed by how early California started voting. CNN showing long lines but a bunch voted a week or two ago. I mailed my ballot less than 24 hours before Mayor Pete bowed out. I wonder how many Klobuchar/Pete voters would have gone Biden if early voting was scaled back.

I'm all for early voting. I think it's great. But I wonder if it's better during a shorter period of time. Or just for the general election when the candidates are locked in.

With 12-16 candidates, a lot can happen, as we've seen the last few days. I wouldn't be happy if my candidate dropped out a week after I voted.

I agree with this. And clearly Biden won the headlines - but when you get down to actual delegate numbers, it will probably be pretty even. Sanders was cleared the 15 percent mark I think everywhere. But Bernie's "brand" has always been as the purest liberal, no big money etc., he needs to start building bridges toward the middle instead of burning them. Sanders had a lot more money and time put into Tuesday, Biden put pretty much nothing into it and still won.

My precinct is strictly mail-in, but I still waited until Saturday before casting my vote.

On the more pungent side of Hecker, we all got absentee regardless if we were absentee voters. I like it for the General but when we were three days from a race that KO'd some big candidates, not so much.

Never underestimate the human mind's ability to rationalize ANYTHING.

CNN orgasmic about Biden inching ahead in Texas.

How would you want them to react to a sure bet for Sanders as of a week ago suddenly flipping?

A week ago the DNC wasn't all-in for Biden.

Die has been cast for the past 48 hours.

So, again, how did you want CNN to react?
"And at midnight eastern, Biden takes a lead in a state Sanders expected to carry easily. In other news, Coronavirus continues..."

Bernie Bros are going to be maaaaaaaad. Fortunately, they seem to accept and compromise well so I'm sure everything will be fine.
