The clock starts ticking once you leave SNL because there will be someone else from SNL leaving for movies soon behind you. The other problem is people on SNL are usually in their late 20s early 30s, at some point "the underdog slob fighting the establishment" storylines just make you look like an old loser. I am surprised Aykroyd hasn't written more.

Chase was never funny on SNL.

You're not wrong, but compared to Smokey and the Bandit 3, it looked like damn-near Oscar quality.

LOL! It's been so long ago. Weren't Gleason and the former football player that played his son the only holdovers in the third one?

No. Jerry Reed returned as Cledus Snow. I'm fairly certain they had the same actors as Big Enos and Little Enos, too.

Sadly enough, I actually remembered that Reed was in it. I had to look up the other two.

    Cannonball Run II was awful.

And the second Fantastic Four movie....how can you have the Silver Surfer in it and it suck so bad? I had to apologize to my kids for that one.

Had he lived, an entire generation would have known John Lennon as "that annoying guy on Twitter."

I watched the first 30 minutes of Inside Man: Most Wanted. Not only is it the same setup of the original (except the director explains the point of the robbery with the first scene), but at least three times in 30 minutes characters mention that this robbery is just like the diamond robbery five years ago.

It had Rhea Seehorn. Can't be all bad.

There has to be space on this list somewhere for Alien 3. At least Alien: Resurrection had Ripley playing basketball with Ron Perlman.

Wayne’s World 2 and Major League 2 aren’t the worst and they have their good moments, but they don’t live up to their originals.

I mean, Garth goes from the pretty blonde at Mikita’s, upgrades to Kim Basinger, then ends up with Garthette?

Wayne's World 2 has the funniest scene in either movie.
