    We're talking 75-80 percent of the people around me. Thankful that does not include my wife or one brother. The other is a full on Trumper. We don't talk about it.

    I have not seen him referred to as acting in any of the articles I have read.

    One of the best humans I know is a huge Trump supporter. She’s caring, compassionate, humble, et cetera — basically the opposite of Trump. I’m baffled by her support of him. Maybe I don’t know her as well as I think I do.

    Hunter's nickel and dime bullshit is about on a par with Tiffany Trump and her gold-digger slut mother waltzing around Washington demanding freebees at stores, restaurants, beauty salons, etc etc, constantly playing the "do you know who I am" card.

    Fun Fact: Joe Biden has a daughter, Ashley, who is a almost exactly the same age as Ivanky Trump.

    And Joe Biden has never gone on teevee interviews to discuss his urges to screw her. Never not once.

    Trump IS draining the swamp - its just running through the WH to exit. What blows my mind is that all of these people know how awful Trump is and they STILL think they can do a better job than the person they replaced.

    I think the same thing about a couple of friends. In both cases, I've found myself drifting away from them. It is difficult to reconcile their altruism and kindness with such rabid support of a lying sociopath with autocratic tendencies and myriad symptoms of neurocognitive breakdown. Something is amiss in the minds and souls of people who continue to support him.

    @garrow, yep.

    The people in my family who support Trump are Cluster B types. Most of them were already supporters of the Tea Party Movement. One cousin made vague threats about "eliminating" the enemy (read: me) when I asked her to remove me from her mailing list after she sent out a hateful mass mailing to her followers about the USPS issuing an Eid stamp. Per her response, anyone not for her was against her. ::sigh:: I used to look askance at people who walked away from family. Now I understand it.

    edit: It's not exclusively about Trump. Their lack of empathy for others is too much and has gotten worse over the last few years.

    Trump runs his Chief of Staff like Snyder handles head coaches.
