2020 Pro Wrestling Thread

There are no world title matches, and the build-up for most of these matches were minimal, but there have been some great performances and moments tonight. Credit to WWE -- they've done a great job keeping the Philly crowd happy.

 

It’s been a pretty entertaining show, although right now, the crowd is pretty much dead with the women.

Plus, unless Ronda comes out, we already know Basler’s winning it and Becky will come out to hold up the belt in front of her.

 

That was ... anticlimactic. They didn’t even do a stare-off.

Tag title match should have been the main event.

 

The show started great but ended in the toilet. The IC title match was a glorified Raw match, and the women's chamber was atrocious. Totally predictable, no standout spots and not even a standoff with Becky.

 

the middle of that match was the best thing on the show. The thing Dorado did off the cage? Holy shit. Imagine the internet explosion if Rey Fenix did that.....

the whole show was downhill after heavy machinery went out of that tag match tho.

crowd was decent and there was some good rasslin but it was largely just filler

 

Shayna mowing through the entire chamber may have been special had they not just done the exact same thing with Brock at the Rumble.

 

Two other things: Nakamura’s outfit looked like Kane.

All I could think of with buzzsaw Shayna was Prichard doing Heyman’s CM Punk ECW December to Dismember pitch “and then he chokes him out with the anaconda vise sir..... if i may have another volley sir....”

 

Lost in all the in-ring stuff is ... a shareholder lawsuit against the E. Looks like the Saudi deal is at the center of it, and the delayed airplane flight is also mentioned.
