I'm not interested in digging it out, but I posted here maybe ten days ago, a week ago, that it would be a really smart time to get out of stocks and go liquid, with the market gone very flaky and the virus incoming. Everything looked unstable as hell and no reason to think it was going to get better. I'm not talking in your terms, like planning a business strategy to profit from it. I'm talking about the guy who has a substantial sum (for him) in his 401k. I said then that it would be a very smart time to go liquid, move to a money market before the bottom dropped out, words on that order. No, it wouldn't have made you a killing, but it would have saved you from the repeated 3% drops all last week and this bloodbath

I don't think or talk in your financial terms, Ragu, not that it isn't obvious.

Should have looked, I started to. I read something and obviously got it or remembered it wrong.

I have no idea if you own any US equities. ... But if you do, did you sell all your stocks a couple of weeks ago and park yourself in cash?

Might have helped if Trump hasn’t whacked the fedruhl employees who were in charge of health crisis response. But no. He had to strut for the Federalist Society and eliminate positions just for show.
This is the part of the price we pay for states rights nonsense.

Nah. Just free advice. I'm not in the market to have to worry about it. House is paid for. Retired.

I suspect that there are more than a few solid conservatives whining today.
