This'll be really ironic when they find me slumped over at my desk in two weeks but...

The temperature in London has a tepid 40-60 degree range for most of the year. It's perfect for these viruses and I suspect this thing has been here for a while. Plus, since the air is so polluted, we're used to getting weird coughs, lung infections out of the blue, etc. etc. So, right now, people are wondering if they're dealing with the usual nonsense - along with "spring" hay fever - or if they're in early stages.

I think a lot of people are going to say, screw it. Their immune systems and lungs are already built up. Virus-schmirus.

perhaps I've read too many Starman screeds, but I fully expect coronavirus to subside over the summer only to re-emerge as a national emergency around mid-October. The NBA season postponement has to be giving this regime ideas about suspending the election.

 

If there is an image I need out of my head more than Trump asking for "white stuff" I don't want to know it. I need so much beer to kill those brain cells.

 

On one hand, President "It's just the flu and we've got it contained" dying from Corona would be a wonderful silver lining.

On the other hand, I really want him to have to swallow an election defeat in November.
