    It's entertaining to see a steady stream of actual CEOs come up there and say a few intelligent sounding words, providing a quick-access contrast to what a blowhard con man sounds like.

    Can we just pick one of these guys and put them in charge, instead?

    The price action in equities heading into the last half hour before the weekend was fishy, to say the least.

    They announced Trump was going to speak earlier in the day -- chose to do it during market hours.

    The expectation was that there would be some kind of stimulus package annoucement. Why he wanted to do it during market hours, so the market could rip while spoke.

    He came out a half hour late, with just a half hour of equity trading left in the week. The market was teetering.

    He started speaking, and the initial reaction on his babbling -- and no major announcement of anything -- was to start selling down.

    And then suddenly, equities starting ripping higher and there was panic buying into the close.

    Now maybe this can be explained by how oversold things are. But no fucking way. That was the plunge protection team being deployed to create buying while he was speaking to make it seem like his words were magically restoring confidence. I will bet my last dollar on this. It was so fucking transparent.

    I literally can't understand the actions they're taking because he's doing such a horridly bad job of reading the words printed on the paper in front of him.

    Am I not paying interest on my student loans? What was that web site address? .Gov?
