Muh Muh Muh My Corona (virus)

They'll be testing a whole package of respiratory viruses at once. I'm retired so I don't know the current protocol, but probably testing flu A and B, a nasal culture, possibly a throat culture, and an RSV swab. (Respiratory Synovial Virus). If they don't have the COVID test most likely it is close to that. If they have some but they are not plentiful and if you have symptoms, they *might* do COVID at the same time, might wait to see results of the others first. If they now have a solid supply, which anecdotally at least is still very rare, they'll do all of them. I keep seeing that they're doing two COVID per patient in case of false results.

 

I see more whining on Jokebook than actual coping strategies. Big surprise, that.
I am going to eat like a king today - if I can just manage that without anyone else handling my food in the least.

 

I think he figures that people might be more willing to listen and act after this. He's probably talking about after the election.

Publix has announced that they're going to start closing at 8 instead of 10 pm. This is so they can clean and decontam as well as restocking.
