All this talk about the virus, and I don't think I've seen anything about the impact on pregnant women. If a pregnant woman shows symptoms, I assume the coughing alone would be bad for the baby let alone other effects, but are there risks even if she doesn't have symptoms?

South African president announced tonight a travel ban on those from affected countries (U.S., pretty much all of Europe, etc.). But also ban on citizens traveling to those countries. It all kicks in March 18 though. We were already headed back tomorrow. Had checked our seats and the plane was basically empty but now I'm thinking Cape Town and Joburg airports could be nuts and plane may be fuller if people scramble to get back. And not sure what JFK will be like or if while we're in the air for 15.5 hours NYC will maybe just shut down and we'll just orbit the earth with no country to go to for like 6 months.
