Perhaps we could also stipulate that there are ways for you to avoid my posts?

It's kind of creepy seeing COVID-19 popping up in the Notable Deaths Wikipedia page suddenly. Three of the 12 listed names in the last two days.

Depends where you are about online teaching.

Many areas are calling school work optional right now because either the kid doesn’t have internet at their home or they realize about 25% of the students won’t do it so they will fail.

While I'm against the self-checkout line generally speaking, now might be the time make more use of them. Have a few staffers watching to make sure people aren't stealing, and let the rest stay home.

We all genuflect for the first responders. Standing ovations, fantastic pensions, etc.

Frigging supermarket checkers are standing in the line of fire, with little pay and a lot of risk. And as we've seen this weekend, supermarkets are vital to the the wellbeing of this country. I honestly really salute them.

I can understand this one! Lines have been long like a holiday weekend, except a) we get out shelves replenished at night and b) no one knows when this shit will end. Got home last night just blew up over nothing.

Probably shouldn't be having coffee now, but here I am.

I thanked half a dozen people at Publix today. Those people did not sign up to serve at one of the front lines in a plague.
