Elizabeth Warren just said on MSNBC we need to raise Social Security and Disability by $200 a month. Another reason I love her

ive Seen this piece of shit for 30 years and he’s never been anything but a horrible human. But can he even fake it for a couple of days? And if not, god needs to call him home because 340,000,000 need a decent human for a few days. Even pence can summons the fortitude to concentrate and be a man for a fewdays. Hopefully.

While we're at it, how about a vaccine against these germs?

On Fox News, suddenly a very different tune

On his program on Friday, Hannity — the most watched figure on cable news — lauded the president’s handling of what the host is now, belatedly, referring to as a “crisis.”

“Tonight, we are witnessing what will be a massive paradigm shift in the future of disease control and prevention,” he said. “A bold, new precedent is being set, the world will once again benefit greatly from America’s leadership. . . . The federal government, state governments, private businesses, top hospitals all coming together, under the president’s leadership, to stem the tide of the coronavirus.”

I saw Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's name thrown in there the other day.
Don't know anything about her. The peg was that she could help swing those states?

Me, it's wishful thinking for Sally Yates. ... mmmm, future President Sally Yates.

Kamala would do that *almost* as well as Stacey. Yes yes some of the militant progressives don't like that she was tough as a prosecutor, well she can turn it all around and say, " as much as I have anything to do with it, I will work to put as many Trumpist fascists as possible into prison."

Plus of course the right wing screech machine will see a black female and scream 24/7 that she's a commie pinko radical lunatic. I fuckin guarantee if she is named as the VP choice within 36 hours the right wing screchosphere will be talking about a videotape of her screaming "Kill Whitey."

Stacey is great but she has no experience beyond state rep. One of the many many many things we should learn from Fatfuck is that the (vice) president must have some experience in how the upper levels of government work. Give her a few years in a Cabinet post to build her national credentials.

Whitmer isn't ready yet, she's only been governor a couple years and the GOP
has sandbagged and sabotaged her every inch of the way. Ditto with her as Abrams: get a few more years of big league experience under her belt, maybe she's a factor in '24 or '28.

I wouldn’t say that. Warren would obviously be on the short list, but there’s also Sen. Tammy Baldwin, from Wisconsin, and Sen. Debbie Stabenow, from Michigan. Both are progressives who could help flip swing states that turned blue in 2016. Baldwin supports M4A and has one of the most liberal voting records in the Senate, and Stabenow strongly supports M4A, debt-free college and the Green New Deal. I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting.
