So stores are closing early and the Bay Area is all but locked down, are we going to have a run on doritos next?

Of course, it is probably easier to buy an AR-15 now than it is to buy toilet paper, too...:(

It would be nice to see what our 94-year-old commerce secretary has to say with all of this hell breaking loose.

I mean, at least make one firing. It's been how they've played it every other time they've stepped in shit.

Brownie himself eventually was terminated, IIRC.

Don't worry. It'll go away by itself.

There's a lot to unpack here, but this is still SportsJournalists.com, so this part is worth noting when you consider the impact on the sports world:

Maybe this is alarmist. But if this proves to be true -- an 18-month restriction on gatherings -- for many of us in the sports-journalism/sports-info business, our careers as we know them are over. I know there are bigger considerations at play in all of this, and I do not mean to dismiss their significance. But for many of us, "this is our hill and these are our beans."

I am not a religious man, but I hope and pray this is a worst-case scenario, and it does not come to pass.

The Catholic Church in Oregon has cancelled mass in Oregon through Easter. There will be a live-streamed mass though.

It's funny - I always used to joke that prison wouldn't be so bad (as long as it was minimum security) in that I could catch up on Netflix and reading. I guess I'm kind of getting my wish.

RE: Moving Indy and or the Derby to Labor Day weekend.
You've already got the Southern 500 and opening weekend of SEC football.
That wouldn't be the best choice unless you are only banking on diehard fans.
