The Eagles gave Javon Hargrave $39 million for three years, including $26 million guaranteed. Unfortunately, his departure from the Steelers has been a done deal for a while, but he was really miscast as a nose tackle in a 3-4 and he was still productive. Hargrave is going to flourish playing next to Fletcher Cox in a 4-3.

But that’s a lot of money.

Diggs to Buffalo for a 1,4,5,6

If Brady was smart he would wait and sign with the first good team that gets their QB hurt or isn’t ready - I’m looking at you Pittsburgh.

I don’t think Brady is going to play for the league minimum, which is about all the Steelers will have available during this season.

Weelllll. Guess he's going to the Bucs or retiring? Or, Mystery Third Team. And - People ripped Seth Wickersham when he was first reporting on the rift between the various factions of the Patriots. I imagine he'll be getting his Twitter account flooded with apologies today!

That Diggs trade is not quite that - A first is really valuable, but 4,5,6, you'd expect those three picks to turn into a starter, a backup and a washout on average, I bet. Still though - I think that trade means the Bills overpaid slightly for Diggs, or, that the Texans vastly undervalued Hopkins. Like, I'd rather have a 1,4,5,6 from the Bills - and no salary coming back - than getting David Johnson and lesser picks.

Odds that this is the first the Patriots are hearing that Brady is done with them?

I’ve waited two fucking decades to see the Patriots fall off their high horses.
