NBC reported yesterday there were 4,000 cases in the U.S. Those are just the reported cases, so let’s be conservative and say the actual total is 10,000. In a week there will be 55,349 cases, in two weeks 306,351 cases, and in a month 9,385,106 cases. In six weeks every American would be mathematically infected, but by that time the curve will have hit its limit. So if this thing is a worst case disaster, it’ll burn itself out in 2 months. Small solace to the 6 million dead, I know.
