    Close. Same conference.
Most of those guys who worked at the Star back then were pretty much like family, though.

Seeing Brady in another uniform will never not be weird.

The people who always worry about a player's "legacy" and seeing another uniform never have any $$ at stake. I don't begrudge Brady's move to earn more $$, while super wealthy, he's likely nowhere close to what Kraft has or Jerry Jones, or even Mark Davis.

Do I think any less of Montana/Mays/McCovey/Marichal (Dodger!)/Unitas/Namath/Rice /Jordan because they wore another uniform? No. They will always be in their primary uniform when I think of their greatness but they will have their full earnings.

Brady retiring to the southwest Florida coast as so many have before him.

It'd be a nicer story if Belichick and Brady had finished more or less at the same time in New England, but that's all, nicer. As with many long-time couples who break up, they'll both be happier -- for a little while.

Players should play until they no longer enjoy it. The legacy talk is ridiculous.

What's lost in all the Brady talk is the pure fact he looked like shit for most of last season; his arm strength is shot.

Has anyone other than Peyton Manning won a Super Bowl with more than one team?
He wasn't at the end of his career when he moved. He was about 3/4 through.
