I don't like postponing the election, but the reality is that it was completely up in the air whether it was going to happen or not until the day before the election. I can't help but feel that trying to go on with it the next day was going to set up all sorts of screwed up precincts and absentee volunteers.

My biggest qualm about vote by mail and absentee votes is that they are an opening to voter fraud in wholesale numbers. The R's disenfranchisement efforts were primarily aimed at a single voter voting more than once (well, truthfully, they were aimed at disqualifying Democratic voters, but you know what I mean), which is quite rare and even if it does happen, the numbers are unlikely to effect an election. When it comes to stacks of mail in ballots, it gets easier to add ballots for people who did not vote or to selectively remove votes against the party of your choice. Look at the recent scandal in North Carolina, for instance.

Is it correct that Florida, Arizona, and Illinois are voting today?
If so, that should be enough to shut down Bernie.
Then, it doesn't make a flying flip what Ohio does.

10 Oregon voters plead guilty to voter fraud in 2016 presidential election

Oregon also has automatic voter registration (with a drivers license or other state ID). I think the bigger problem with elections is elected officials purging large groups of people from voting, and drawing districts abnormally strong or weak for one or another party frankly. You can always check and change your registration on-line here. You sign the ballot and the signature needs to match in order to be counted.

At this point either Bernie is hoping Biden catches COVID-19 and die or he just likes getting his ass whipped.

Even if Biden catches COVID-19 and can't run, Bernie's not getting the nomination.

At this point, he's trying to get his platform adopted by the party. The longer he drags this out, the more concessions he is hoping to get. The health crisis and states postponing primaries (including Ohio who was supposed to go today) may make that a moot point. He really needs to get out.

He's got plenty of sway. He pulled the platform left in 2016 and he'll get it done in 2020 as well. The more 40-50 point beatings he takes in primaries and he'll have to start giving up stuff. This was a real reality check for Bern. He had five years to figure it out and he made few changes but ran against someone less polarizing than Hillary. And he got beat down.

Whoah. Biden has more than a million votes in Florida. Bernie: 370,000.

Any Hail Mary chance that Bernie had to win ended tonight. If he doesn’t concede in the next few hours, he’s just in it to drag down Joe in a fit of ego and/or misplaced idealism. His message is fully out there and he has been heard. But he cannot win.
