My niece lives outside of London and said there are already some small signs of civil unrest, fights at grocery stores, etc. I do wonder after about three weeks or a month, if some restrictions aren't lifted, if a certain number of businesses and people are just gonna say, "Fuck it," and do whatever the hell they want. Shutting business down for more than a month throughout the country will be complete economic suicide.

    Here's something interesting.
Trumpist states, which I'm defining as Republican in the past few POTUS elections, account for 47.8% of the population.
Reasonable states are 52.8% of the population.

According to data found here, the positive-test rate in Trumpist states is 9.62%; in others, it's slightly but not appreciably higher (10.15%.)

Yet Trumpist states make up only 21.33% of all tests and 20.45% of all tests administered.

What if we exclude the three hottest spots, New York, Washington and California, you ask?

Trumpist states have the same 9.62% positive rate as before, but this time, it's higher than the rest of the country and territories, which have a 9.22% positive rate.
Trumpist states' shares are still curious. They make up 59.8% of the population but only 41.4% of the tests.

The fact that Trumpist states are more rural than the rest of the country explains some of the difference. But all of it? I wonder.
