Exercise is essential here. Yesterday was nice and I went for a walk. Many more people out strolling in my neighborhood than usual at mid-afternoon. As my next door neighbor, who was walking in the other direction and our paths crossed, said, "what else do we have to do?" Hiking or walking alone is not hitting South Beach. That's silly. BTW, most Mass. supermarkets now are reserving their first hour of operation for customers over 60. That would be great for me if the hour at my local wasn't 6-7 a.m.

Count me among those going out for morning exercise. That's probably the best thing for everyone. Going to a gym, maybe not so much, but outside and distanced from people is the best place to be.

The flatter the curve, the longer things go on.

    Good news: Hospitals aren't overwhelmed.
    Bad news: Everything else dies.

You can add Rand Paul to the list.

    Well, what's the word?
I just want to pop in there for five minutes and get the fuck out.
    Pet supplies and other miscellany.

    I posted a little earlier:

Pet supplies seem to be no problem. Neither are soft drinks and all kinds of unhealthy snacks. Wife wants buttermilk, but I can't find any.

In my trips to our supermarket in the past 10 days, it's all been dependent on suppliers. Very hit or miss. One visit, paper goods plentiful and no milk of any kind. Next visit three days later it was just the reverse. BTE, I must add a New Englandism after your post. Soft drinks here were plentiful except for Polar brand seltzers, which were almost all gone.

    Thank you.
More worried about assholes not keeping their distance.
And forgive me but I really do not understand the frantic run on toilet paper - *whispers* - many other things will suffice in a pinch.
My sons and I are craving a gigantic chocolate cake and I do wonder if the bakery is open.
