Vote better then. I mean that respectfully.

Trump is using this Nicholson Joker ploy of giving every citizen $1,000 as a softening for his removal of entitlements we have paid into our entire working lives.

There are two retired teachers who live in our neighborhood. Every morning, rain or shine, they meet to walk their dogs together. Every day this week, I've seen them keeping up their routine. But thanks to social distancing (and the nature of our neighborhood traffic patterns), one walks by the curb while the other walks in the middle of the street.

Seeing they continued their morning routine with that modification encouraged me.

So sorry about the delay. Still, its good to have the right partner. Happy for y'all. <3

Hang in there with your daughter. It's tough because kids feel powerless, especially when leadership isn't acting sufficiently grown-up. In late '01 and well into '02, the phone calls that came in on my shift from kids who'd waited for their parents to go to bed so they could talk to someone about what scared them was heartbreaking
    and sobering.

Generally speaking: Talk to your children, even the bigger ones who seem like they have it all figured out.

Still talking people down here, too, both in traditional clinical "garb" and in sillier ways that seem to be less threatening. It's working, so I'm gonna trust my bosses and keep it up. @CD Boogie If you have the knack for listening and becalming others, and you feel you can use it, good on ya. You're doing (insert name of deity of choice or Carl Sagan's name here)'s work.

PBS was doing one of their historic reality shows when 9/11 happened. I think they decided to tell the participants evertthing a few days after the attacks.

NPR has obtained a recording allegedly made three weeks ago of Senate intel chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) telling members of the Tar Heel Circle in a private Capitol Hill luncheon that the Coronavirus is “much more aggressive ... than anything we’ve seen in recent history. It’s probably more akin to the 1918 pandemic.”

Not knocking you. If we are here for information, I am just wondering why you don't list the state where you live. Does everyone here but me already know? Is it classified information?

My Dad just called, he's going to be tested. Fever, wheezing, dry cough.
