A family one street over is having a big party for kids with a bouncy house, cookout, etc. They invited the family down the block to bring their children because the host's mother had chickenpox and measles parties and "it got everything over with and the kids were immune after that." Even though this sounds asinine to me, I am a native and checking to make sure my parents weren't first cousins.

As I said before, this is by far the worst thing these assholes did. Profiteering is one thing. Knowing this mess was coming, not providing proper information, and doing nothing to prepare is far worse.

I don’t understand. We are angry that people who have been in contact with other people that tested positive are getting tested (and shown positive)? I suppose it would be better to let them continue their life as usual and go around infecting others? Once tested, they can know they have to be isolated.

 

Except Hollywood stars and basketball players.
