20 and 30 years from now people will be telling their kids and grandkids, "Back in '20, there was this virus and we couldn't go to school, we had to stay home, eat pizza and play video games and watch movies. That's all we could do. It was hell!"

Remembering stories my grandma told of the Depression and World War II, not sure this is really going to measure up and someone will knock out a Grapes of Wrath or As I Lay Dying over it.

American hospitals turning people with health insurance away at the door.
Americans starving to death.

As Americans, we are numb to homeless and people without healthcare and racism (getting better), but the above three are in their own place. We are about to see one.

or they could be telling their kids/grandkids, my mom lost her job, my dad got sick, we couldn’t leave our house, we almost lost our house, they shut down all of the stores, my parents rationed our food because they were afraid to leave, my grandmother died but we couldn’t hold a funeral, I had to repeat the third grade because the school system shut down, my mom worked at the hospital and we didn’t see her for two months. That doesn’t even include the crap that could happen.
