One thing I LOVE about Hobby Lobby is they play instrumental music at a reasonable sound level all the time. Sometimes it will be a tune you grew up hearing ("The Rose"), other times a classical tune (Pachelbel Canon in D major). But always instrumental. A nice change of pace from the more intrusive music often played at other establishments.

I guess I would not actually kill him if I had the chance.

I would tell him to take off all of his clothes, shower, wash his hair, comb it out leave it down. (probably reaches his shoulders)
Then I would take pictures from each side. Also I would scream as loud as I could, as close as I could, repeatedly....SHUT UP!!!!!!! Give him the old kick in the ass and say get dressed and get the fuck out.
I would then release the pics to the world.
I don't know what this says about me but this is what I would do if given the opportunity.

    I feel better, thank you.

Well, because the memo David Green allegedly sent is effing crazy, and basically boils down to, "Don't worry - My wife had a vision." That being said, this originated on Reddit's Atheism sub and I haven't seen it validated by a reputable news site, so yeah, it shouldn't be taken as real. To me, Gamestop trying to be classified as an emergency, needed store and to force employees in as a result has been the worst confirmed corporate store thing yet.

My wife's late father was a contestant on Tic-Tac-Dough, one of the rigged shows of the '50s. Won 27K, which was one hell of a lot of money in 1957. Was not involved in the fixes, but went to his grave convinced he'd been beaten and eliminated by a fixer.

Good grief. Steam needs to make some kind of offer for people to help them through the shut-in/shut down. As for the Greens. Nothing surprises me.

@lakefront a lot of us, including me, are wrestling with anger and bad thoughts. I get angry and it goes nowhere than just being generally angry.

Last week, Lamar Alexander sent a letter to his constituents where he described having his fee-fees hurt by a neighbor who let him know what he thought of his voting record. What a delicate flower.

He's Christian, and I fervently hoped when he passed on, he would be greeted by every person whose life was ended or ruined by the president he so vociferously defended: every baby who never saw their parents again, every child whose potential was abbreviated, every person who didn't have to die from Covid-19. I wanted this whining jerk to answer to each one.

I'm not trying to tell you how to feel. My experience is, stuff like that makes me feel sick and emotionally hungover and I'm no good for anyone else when that happens. This might be out of bounds and I apologize. No offense was intended.

Wikipedia says all but two episodes were destroyed (taped over), according to the host, so until one shows up on a VHS tape in Bing Crosby’s basement ...

My sister did her thesis on Burning Man. Talk about 'community spread' - of an ideal.

I am fascinated by groupthink, whether it's on a message forum or a Trumplestiltskin rally.

We have found some other episodes — there are some very niche obsessives out there.
