The devil is in the details. If you allow a shitty bill through, you're stuck with a shitty bill afterward. This is going to be a pretty damned important afterwards. They need to get this right the first time, because this is the time that the pressure is on both sides to get it done and done right.

It's an OK ad, but it freeze frames Biden a couple times in mid blink or with his eyes downcast, then shifts the video to BW so he looks cadaverous or comatose.
And no Democratic ad anywhere in
the country should appear without the clip of Fatfuck saying, "I don't take responsibility at all."

He should kiss Mitch McConnell on the mouth first.

I get that. I just think Moscow Mitch is outmaneuvering Pelosi. The Senate is going to pass a bill. If Pelosi and gang hold it up, they'll be portrayed as preventing relief from going to the American people. Watch the Republicans play that card. Now a good counter by the House would be to pass a bill solely on checks or direct deposits going to those making under $75,000 and dare the Republicans to vote against it. Also, do a separate bill on unemployment on steroids and dare them to vote against that.

Nobody has outmaneuvered anyone yet. House and Senate are equal partners. Besides, we have yet to see if Mitch can get 60 votes for cloture on his bill. As for blame, I am reminded of one of McConnell's own sayings -- "process arguments are for losers."
