Denver's shutdown order that takes effect in less than an hour bans basketball games on courts. Playgrounds are closing.

People aren't doing what they need to be doing. There is no enforcement. It's "self enforcement." These "stay at home orders" are a joke. In Denver, there are more than 25 exemptions.

Hell, there was a mad rush to liquor stores and dispensaries yesterday after it was announced they were shutting down. A huge liquor store near me had people lined up around three sides of the building. Nice social distancing. Less than two hours later, suddenly liquor stores and dispensaries were deemed "essential."

Either make it a true stay at home order or don't, not that people are going to follow the orders anyway.

On the other hand, pick up game defense frequently resembles social distancing.

    Like I said: We’re fucked.

When the Trumpists start echoing the President’s “disease isn’t worth the cure,” this thing is going to burn right through the country.

It can never be unanimous without the police state measures employed in China. Even if we wanted, we don't have enough police for that. But if 95 percent of the people are following instructions, that's way better than no instructions at all to follow.

See, I'm terrible at math. Knew it didn't seem right. I multiplied that there would be 3.6 times it would double or whatever by then by today's numbers. Obviously not close to correct! And this is terrible. What is Trump thinking? And I know that's a dumb question too.

3.2 mil is what would have happened if we did nothing.

We did something. How much? April 1st will give an idea.

No way we are out by Easter. No way. No one will listen.

Anyone with a brain knows this. Trump WON'T listen, that's all.

In defending his refusal to compel a stay-home order, the Trumpist governor of Florida said, "This has not hit every corner of the state." Or something like that.
OK. Just most corners. Including yours in Tallahassee.

Leon County (Tallahassee) issued stay-at-home order (there's just no accurate word for these yet) this afternoon.

For some reason people are having a hard time grasping that by the time the number of cases are of note, it’s too late.

I wonder how many states are doing breakouts like this? That seven outbreaks are residential care facilities is scary. Especially since it increased.
