Someone posted on a local FB group that a nearby Costco had gas for $1.54. Where is anyone going?

 

I'm planning on a long drive this weekend just to get the fuck out of the house. I'll gladly take advantage.

 

It would be 12 cents a gallon if not for all that Quantitative Easing and all that printed money sloshing around and making the dollar worthless.

 

Where’s the thread talking about how shitty that #stimulusbill is for people who’ve lost their job or been furloughed — or soon will be — due to COVID?

My family will be fine, but a one-time, taxable $1,200 check won’t do shit for those folks. No bill freeze, either. This country’s government really hates its people.

I’m going to lock this prediction in now: The economy will crash again due to the inadequate COVID response, and that includes this little fuckup.

 

It's a good thing Republicans mostly govern cow shit, limiting how many people they can actually kill off.

 

Market gains starting to back up. Wonder if they know something we don’t about this stimulus.

 

Some Republicans, notably Lindsay Graham, said they will block the legislation (can't block without 41 votes, but can slow down) because its unemployment payments are too generous.

 

Some of these people are really showing their true colors.

 

When blaming China is not enough.

 

If nothing else I'd keep your car's gas tanks full and fill your various gas cans at home. If trucking goes down, there won't be any gas to buy.
