I'm truly amazed that there doesn't even seem to be a coordinated global response to the epidemic. It's every country for itself, every state for itself etc. How a government could potentially help spread the virus to other countries by deporting people is beyond the pale. Having seen a few virus movies in my day - Contagion and Outbreak - it's not hard to determine who the "bad guys" are in this.

 

More than 3.3 million have filed for unemployment benefits amid the crisis and last night Sanders was the on the Senate floor making sure that those who lost jobs received full pay as four GOP Senators wanted to cut that provision out of the stimulus package. Those four eventually backed down.

I’d say that’s showing up.

 

Before January 2020, Donald Trump gave you a million reasons to not vote for him in the next presidential election. This year, he gave you a million more. Vote Democratic. For the future.
