I see what you're saying, but that's not my intention. My cases number is not a future projection. They're based on the CURRENT number of cases simply being under-reported. The unanswerable question is HOW MUCH they are being under-reported. And short of testing everybody every day, it's impossible to ever know. How does an asymptomatic person ever find his way into the "reported" cases list? Hell, even people WITH symptoms don't get tested (see InkyWretch's dad).

Yes, the number of deaths will continue to rise. But so will the number of cases as people continue to become infected, don't develop serious symptoms, never get tested, and are never included on the list.

I don't even believe the flu numbers. If you never see a doctor for it, how the hell are you counted?

 

Not to be pedantic, but isn’t that number closer to 1/20th of one per cent?

We were always going to be in an awful position. But let’s be clear — we lost precious time and lives while Trump didn’t want to hear about it because he thinks that any bad news reflects badly on him.
