    People think Trump is a transactional person, so they still make the mistake of thinking that he's way more calculating or forward thinking than he is. Although, I am not sure how anyone can't see him for exactly who he is at this point.

    Those states or constituents that he thinks he needs to court because they are his "base"? They are only as good to him as his latest impetuous impulse. Same as the people sitting in jail right now who he threw under the bus were good to him. ... until they weren't. Transactional isn't even the right word to describe him, because it implies an exchange.

    The biggest compliment that one of my bosses could give to someone was that they were “a foxhole guy” and one of the biggest insults was if they weren’t a foxhole guy. Trump is the least foxhole guy ever.

    @Starman, I'm not trying to tell you what to do. A while back, one of my clinic kids got online and drew cartoons of Bush and Cheney with bullet holes between their eyes. The next day we had to negotiate him not ending up on the floor with boots on his neck.

    Also... Not gonna name names, but I have friends who worry about their and their family's safety. They're circumspect about what they say. (They also gleefully nuke callers who want to rant about how the right is so victimized, so there is that release.)

    To pick up the warnings from Slacker, be careful. This could lead to more than job loss. My clinic kid was on a message board for fans of a band, so I'm not sure if there are any safe places.

    Sorry for being a buzzkill this morning.
